PRL Motorsports Intercooler Install Kit - 2021-2025 Acura RDX 2.0T
Acura changed the charge piping arrangement on the RDX for 2021, which means the PRL intercooler needs an adapter to connect to it. That's what this is: a silicone outlet hose and clamps that bridge your factory piping to the upgraded intercooler. Required on 2021 and newer cars, unnecessary on earlier ones.
You Need The Intercooler Too

Why 2021 Changed
Straightforward explanation for a part that looks odd on its own.
The 2019 and 2020 RDX routes its charge piping one way, and the PRL intercooler was designed around that. Acura revised the arrangement for 2021, which means the connection point no longer lines up the same way.
Rather than producing a second intercooler for the later cars, PRL made an adapter. The silicone outlet hose connects your factory piping to the intercooler correctly, and the intercooler itself remains the same part for both year ranges.
2021 And Newer Only
Check your year. This kit is specifically for 2021 and newer RDX 2.0T.
If you have a 2019 or 2020, you don't need it. Those years connect to the intercooler directly, so buying this would leave you with parts you can't use.
No Tune Required
Neither this kit nor the intercooler it pairs with requires ECU calibration. You're improving how the engine handles charge air temperature rather than changing how fuel is metered, so the factory tune remains correct.
