Pick Your Setup: D-Series Or B-Series
The EF came with D-series engines, but a lot of them now run B-series swaps, so the kit comes in two fitments. Match yours before ordering.
D-series (MMHOSE-CIV-88) is for the factory D-series setup (and D-series swaps). One important note: the D-series kit's upper hose fits SOHC engines only, so confirm you're running a SOHC D-series before ordering this version.
B-series (MMHOSE-CIV-88B16) is for a B16 or other B-series swap, routed for the B-series engine's cooling connections rather than the factory D-series layout.

Rubber coolant hoses degrade from the inside out. Heat cycles dry them out, they crack and get brittle, and pressure makes them balloon and weaken. You'll need clamps to install them, so if you don't have good reusable ones, add a set to your order so you're not stopped partway through the job.
