Clutch Masters FX100 Clutch Kit (08320, Clutch Only, No Tune Required) - 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si

Need a clutch that holds your bolt-ons but don't want to buy a tuner just to make it work? This is the FX100 kit for you. It's the 08320, the version built around an OEM-weight flywheel, which means your Si runs on the factory ECU exactly like it always has. No FlashPro, no tune, no check engine light to chase. You just get roughly 70% more holding capacity than stock and a car that drives like nothing changed except that the clutch finally grabs. Heads-up before you order: this is the clutch kit only, there's no flywheel in the box, and you do need the matching Clutch Masters flywheel to run it. Details below.

Runs On Your Factory ECU, No Tuner Needed

This is the whole reason to pick the 08320 over the lightweight version. Clutch Masters spec'd this kit around a flywheel that weighs what your factory one does, and that matters more than you'd think, because your ECU notices flywheel weight. Go lighter than stock without tuning and the car throws a check engine light, which means buying engine management you might not have wanted in the first place. This kit sidesteps all of it. Same rotating mass the factory designed around, same happy ECU, same idle and driveability you're used to. Bolt it in, drive it, done.

No Flywheel Included: You Need The FW-320-SF

Let's be crystal clear on this so nothing surprises you. This kit does not come with a flywheel. It's the clutch side only, pressure plate, disc, and bearings. And you can't just reuse your stock Honda flywheel either, because the FX100 is a conversion setup that has to run on a Clutch Masters flywheel. The one you need is the FW-320-SF, sold separately, so make sure it's already on your car or in your cart with this clutch.

Here's the good news, and it's the whole reason to go this route: the FW-320-SF is the OEM-weight flywheel, so it does not require a tune to run. No FlashPro, no engine management, no check engine light. It weighs what your factory flywheel weighed, so your stock ECU never knows the difference. That's the advantage over the lightweight FW-037-SF, which does need tuning to run without throwing a code. Pair this clutch with the FW-320-SF and you're bolting it in and driving, no tuner required.

Right Amount Of Clutch For A Bolt-On Si

Let's make sure this is the right level for your build. The FX100 is the streetable one, aimed at a Si that gets driven every day with the usual stuff on it, intake, exhaust, maybe a little nitrous up to a 50-shot, nothing forced-induction. For that car it's ideal: enough clamp that it quits slipping under your power, more life than the factory clutch had, and none of the jerky, brutal engagement a race clutch subjects you to in traffic. If you're going turbo or supercharged, you've outgrown this one and want a stronger FX level. But for a clean bolt-on street car, this is the sweet spot.

Smooth Take-Up, Nearly Stock Pedal

Here's why you won't hate it in traffic. The Power Plus I heavy-duty pressure plate supplies the extra clamping force, but it only asks for a hair more leg than your factory clutch did. And the steel-backed organic disc runs a Marcel spring wafer between the friction faces, which cushions engagement so the clutch rolls in progressively instead of hitting like a switch. Between the two, you get a clutch that holds real power and still feels normal every time you pull away from a light.

In The Kit

  • Power Plus I heavy-duty pressure plate
  • Heavy-duty steel-backed organic disc with a Marcel spring wafer
  • OEM-or-better release bearing
  • Pilot bearing (when applicable)
  • Alignment tool, instruction card, and decals

No flywheel is included in this kit. The FW-320-SF flywheel is required and sold separately, so add one if it's not already on your car. And remember, that flywheel needs no tune to run.

Fits These Cars

  • 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si (K24Z7)

Note: Clutch Masters FX100 clutch kit, 08320 series, for the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si (K24Z7). Provides approximately 70% more holding capacity than stock using the Power Plus I heavy-duty pressure plate and a steel-backed organic disc with a Marcel spring wafer for smooth engagement, with only slightly increased pedal effort over stock. This is a clutch kit only and does not include a flywheel. It requires the Clutch Masters FW-320-SF flywheel, which is sold separately; the stock OEM flywheel will not work. Because the FW-320-SF is OEM weight, it does not require a tune, and this kit works with the factory ECU without a Hondata FlashPro or other aftermarket engine management. The FX100 is the streetable performance level, suited to street-driven cars with minor bolt-ons such as intake and exhaust, up to about 50hp of nitrous, or other non-forced-induction modifications; higher-power or forced-induction builds should step up to a stronger FX level. Includes the pressure plate, disc, an OEM-or-better release bearing, a pilot bearing (when applicable), an alignment tool, an instruction card, and decals. Clutch life is affected by installation, driving style, added performance, break-in procedure, and lightweight flywheels, and is not guaranteed. One clutch kit per order.
