This Clutch Masters FW-320-SF steel flywheel is the better answer. It's a solid, one-piece steel flywheel that ditches all that dual-mass complexity for good, and because it's matched to factory weight, it runs on your stock ECU with no tune at all.

Why Ditching The Dual Mass Is An Upgrade

Here's what you're getting rid of. A dual-mass flywheel is basically two pieces with springs and dampers packed between them, and Honda used it to smooth out driveline noise. Problem is, all those internal parts are wear items. Important: This Only Works With Clutch Masters Clutches

Read this before you order, because it's the one that'll burn you. This is a conversion flywheel, and it's built specifically for Clutch Masters clutch kits. It will not work with your OE clutch, and it won't work with another brand's aftermarket kit either. So it needs to go in with a Clutch Masters single disc kit, anything in the FX100 through FX500 range. If you're doing the 08320 FX100 clutch, this FW-320-SF is precisely the flywheel that kit calls for, so grab them together and you've got a matched setup.

Fresh Surface, Solid Steel

Since you've got the transmission out anyway, this is the right time. A flywheel is a wear surface, and if yours is glazed, heat-checked, or scored from an old slipping clutch, your new clutch won't bed properly and you'll be fighting engagement problems from day one. Putting a fresh steel flywheel in behind a fresh clutch means both parts start clean, and steel takes heat and abuse well, so it holds up.
