Wunderladen Racing Front Strut Locks - 2016-2026 Honda Civic (Sport/Si/LX/Type R)

If you've gone looking for more front camber on your 10th or 11th gen Civic, you already know the only place to get it is up at the top of the strut. You've either pulled the factory locating pins and shoved the struts inboard, or you're running aftermarket tophats with their own camber adjustment. Either way you end up with the same issue, those mounting studs at the top of the strut are now sitting in a slotted hole. And a slot means the strut can move. Hit a high enough cornering load or clip some track curbing and that strut can actually slip in or out, which throws off the camber you just dialed in. Now your alignment's wandering on you mid-session and you don't even know it. Wunderladen Racing's front strut locks fix that. They lock the strut into a known spot in that slot so it physically can't slip. Set it and it stays set.

Here's The Problem With Running A Slotted Hole Unlocked

When you open up that slot to get camber, you're trading a fixed mounting point for an adjustable one, and that adjustability cuts both ways. The strut's held in place by clamping force, but clamping force alone isn't always enough once you're really loading the chassis. Big cornering loads push on that strut. Slam a curb on track and it gets shoved even harder. If it moves even a little, your front camber changes, and inconsistent camber means inconsistent grip and a car that doesn't behave the same corner to corner. That's the last thing you want when you're chasing lap times or just trying to trust the front end. The slot that gave you the adjustment is the same thing letting the strut wander.

Lock It In And It Stays Put

Wunderladen's strut locks let you install the strut at either the maximum or minimum camber position in the slotted holes, then they lock it there. Once it's set the strut can't slide in or out no matter how hard you're cornering or how rough the surface gets. You've got a known, repeatable camber location that doesn't move on you.
