SpeedFactory Titanium Oil Squirter Delete Bolts - Honda VTEC Engines

Running aftermarket or forged pistons in your B series VTEC, K series, or F20C/F22C1 engine? You need to delete your factory oil squirters. Most aftermarket pistons don't clear the OEM oil squirters, and if the piston hits a squirter it will destroy your engine. These SpeedFactory titanium delete bolts block off the oil squirter holes and give you a few extra benefits: increased oil pressure, reduced oil aeration from crankshaft windage, and no clearance issues with your forged pistons.

Why Delete the Oil Squirters

Factory Honda VTEC engines have oil squirters in the block that spray oil on the underside of the pistons for extra cooling. Stock pistons are designed with clearance for these squirters. Aftermarket forged pistons usually have different skirt profiles and longer wrist pins, which means they hit the oil squirters. If a piston contacts an oil squirter at high RPM, it will snap the squirter off and send metal through your oil system. That kills your bearings and destroys your engine. The simple fix is to remove the oil squirters and block off the holes with these bolts.

Extra Benefits Beyond Clearance

Deleting the oil squirters does more than just fix clearance issues. You also get increased oil pressure because the oil that was going to the squirters stays in the main oil galleries. You get reduced oil aeration from crankshaft windage because the squirters aren't spraying oil into the path of the spinning crank. Both of these help with engine reliability at high RPM.

Tapered Seat for Proper Sealing

SpeedFactory designed these bolts with a tapered seat to ensure proper sealing against the block. The taper matches the oil squirter hole, so you get a tight seal that won't leak. Torque them to 12 ft-lbs with red threadlocker and you're done.

Machined from Titanium

The bolts are machined from titanium with a 12-point head. Titanium is lighter than steel and won't corrode. The 12-point head makes it easier to get a socket on the bolt in tight spaces.

What You Get

  • Four SpeedFactory titanium oil squirter delete bolts
  • Machined from titanium
  • 12-point head design
  • M8 x 0.75mm thread size
  • Tapered seat for proper sealing
  • Torque to 12 ft-lbs with red threadlocker

Benefits

  • Eliminates clearance issues with aftermarket/forged pistons
  • Increased engine oil pressure
  • Reduced oil aeration from crankshaft windage
  • Prevents catastrophic engine damage from piston contact

Fits These Engines

  • B series VTEC (B16A, B18C1, B18C5)
  • K series (K20, K24)
  • F20C (2000-2005 Honda S2000)
  • F22C1 (2006-2009 Honda S2000)

Important: Only delete oil squirters if you're running aftermarket or forged pistons. Factory pistons are designed to work with the oil squirters for cooling. Torque bolts to 12 ft-lbs with red threadlocker during installation.
