SpeedFactory Titanium Valve Cover Hardware Kit S2000 F20C
Every S2000 valve cover job goes the same way: fresh gasket, fresh spark plug tube seals, and then you thread the original 20-year-old bolts with their cracked, hardened rubber seals right back in. That's the leak you'll be chasing next spring. This SpeedFactory titanium valve cover hardware kit replaces the factory hardware on your F20C or F22C1 with five Ti 6Al-4V bolts and titanium washers backed by fresh molded Viton grommets, so the sealing rubber is as new as the gasket under it.
What It Is and Why It Works
SpeedFactory built this kit after running into sealing failures and material problems with other aftermarket valve cover hardware, so the design centers on the part that actually does the sealing: under each titanium washer sits a full-faced, precisely fitted Viton grommet. Viton handles hot oil and heat cycling far better than the aged factory rubber, which is exactly what a valve cover fastener lives in. Each washer is laser-etched with the SpeedFactory logo, and the Ti 6Al-4V bolts won't corrode, so the hardware still looks right years after the wrinkle-red powder coat goes on.
The kit runs five M6 titanium bolts with 10mm 6-point heads, matching the factory S2000 valve cover fastener positions, and it's a direct replacement, no drilling or adapting. It covers both engines: the F20C in the 2000 to 2003 AP1 and the F22C1 in the 2004 to 2009 AP2, North American cars per SpeedFactory's confirmed fitment.

Fitment

Fitment is confirmed for North American S2000s. An F20C or F22C swapped into another chassis uses the same valve cover and the same hardware, so swap builds are covered by the engine, not the badge.
What to Know Before You Buy
Valve cover bolts are gasket-crush fasteners, not strength fasteners, and the factory torque spec is low for a reason. Torque these to the factory service manual number in the factory sequence, and resist the urge to give them an extra quarter turn, because over-tightening distorts the cover and creates the exact leak you're trying to prevent. No anti-seize needed here; these are low-torque fasteners going into a cover, not deep titanium-on-aluminum threads.
Do this as part of a full top-end reseal, not instead of one. New hardware on a hardened perimeter gasket and 20-year-old spark plug tube seals fixes half the problem, and the S2000 is old enough now that if you haven't done the gasket, it's due. Order the OEM Honda valve cover gasket set alongside this kit and do it all in one session, one valve cover removal, zero repeat trips. If you're powder coating the cover while it's off, even better; that's when this hardware makes the most sense, fresh coat, fresh seals, fresh titanium.
