This SpeedFactory Racing kit upgrades your Wagovan driveshaft to stout 1310 u-joints, the simple, budget-effective way to get the reliability a high-horsepower AWD build needs without spending weeks sourcing every yoke, joint, and flange individually. SpeedFactory put the kit together from years of doing exactly that, so you get a proven combination of parts instead of a parts-hunting project.

Why 1310 U-Joints

The factory Wagovan u-joints are small and simply weren't built for serious power, so they wear out and become the failure point in a built AWD drivetrain. Stepping up to 1310 u-joints gives you a far stronger, industry-standard joint that transmits power reliably where the stock units give up. This isn't a theoretical upgrade, it's been tested and proven on SpeedFactory's own 1400+ whp race car running mid-7s at 193+ mph. If that driveshaft holds there, it'll hold on your build.

Pick The Right Version

There are two versions of the kit, and the only difference is whether the SFR Honda AWD Billet Flange Adaptor Kit is included. The adaptors are required to center the rear flanges, but some builders already have them:

• SF-05-530-KIT includes everything except the Billet Flange Adaptor Kit. Choose this only if you already own the SFR flange adaptors.
• SF-05-531-KIT includes everything, the full kit plus the Billet Flange Adaptor Kit. Choose this if you need the adaptors (most people).

If you're not sure whether you already have the adaptors, go with the SF-05-531-KIT so you're not short a required part on build day.

How It Goes Together

This kit supplies the yokes and joints but not the tubing, so it's built to be assembled by a driveshaft shop. Bring the kit and your Wagovan driveshaft to a local shop and they'll build and balance the finished shaft. Before they can cut anything, your viscous coupler and rear differential need to be mounted in the car so the correct lengths can be measured: transfer case to viscous coupler sets the front driveshaft length, and viscous coupler to rear differential sets the rear length. Get those mounted first and the shop has what they need.

What's In The SF-05-530-KIT

• (1) SF-05-531 Front Flange Yoke, bolts directly to the B- or K-series transfer case output flange and uses a 1310 u-joint to the front of the Wagovan driveshaft
• (1) SF-05-535 Front Tube Yoke, welds to the front of the OEM Wagovan driveshaft tube (65.0mm OD x 1.6mm wall / 2.56" OD x .063" wall) that carries the slip joint; a shop can step the shoulder diameter down ~.070" to fit inside the Wagovan tube
• (2) SF-05-530 PTO Flange Yoke, for the rear viscous coupler flange and diff flange (requires the SFR Billet Flange Adaptor Kit to center the flanges)
• (2) SF-05-533 Rear Tube Yoke, welded to a new section of 2.5" OD x .083" wall DOM steel rear driveshaft tube supplied by your driveshaft shop
• (3) SF-05-532 1310X non-greaseable u-joints (non-greaseable units are used because they're stronger than greaseable ones)

What's In The SF-05-531-KIT

Everything in the SF-05-530-KIT above, plus:

• (1) SF-05-510 Billet Flange Adaptor Kit (two billet flange adaptors and hardware)

Good To Know

The kit does not include driveshaft tubing, your shop supplies the rear DOM tube and reuses the front OEM Wagovan tube as described above. The non-greaseable 1310X joints are intentional: no grease fitting means a stronger joint, which is what you want behind big power. Review the technical diagrams in the product images for the full component layout before you hand everything to your driveshaft shop.
