SpeedFactory -10AN Black Anodized Flare Cap
Every build ends up with a male AN fitting that doesn't need a hose on it. An unused port on a catch can, a spare bung on a fuel rail, a fitting you plumbed for later. This is the cap that closes it off: SpeedFactory's -10AN flare cap, female 37 degree JIC, in black anodized aluminum. Sold individually.
What It Is and Why It Works
It's a female cap, which means it threads onto a male -10AN flare fitting and seals on the flare itself rather than on threads or a gasket. No sealant, no tape, no O-ring to age out. The seal is metal on metal at the 37 degree cone, which is why AN plumbing holds pressure the way it does.
Pay attention to that 37 degree number. AN and JIC fittings use a 37 degree flare; SAE fittings use 45 degrees. The two look close enough to thread together and close enough to feel tight, and then they seep under pressure because the cones never actually mated. If your fitting came out of an AN system, you're at 37 and this cap is correct.
Black anodized aluminum keeps it light, keeps the wrench flats from chewing up on assembly, and matches the rest of the black AN hardware in the bay.

Fitment
Universal. It caps any male -10AN flare fitting regardless of what it's bolted to. On Honda builds, -10 is common on catch can plumbing, oil lines, and breather setups, so that's usually where these end up.
What to Know Before You Buy
Check whether you need a cap or a plug. A cap is female and goes over a male fitting. A plug is male and goes into a female port. They aren't interchangeable, and it's the most common wrong order on this kind of part, so look at the fitting on the car before you check out.
These are sold one at a time, so count your open ports and order accordingly. If you're capping a catch can setup or blanking off ports during a build, you probably need more than one.
Snug is enough. A 37 degree flare seals on contact between two machined cones, so cranking down on it doesn't improve the seal, it just deforms soft aluminum. Use AN wrenches rather than an adjustable, and stop when it's firm.
