Skunk2 Ultra Race Intake Manifold for Honda D16Z6 & D16Y8

If your D-series actually sees high RPM, this manifold makes a lot of sense. The Skunk2 Ultra Race intake is built for D16Z6 and D16Y8 setups that have outgrown stock-style or small aftermarket manifolds. Once you add boost, compression, or a real cam, those manifolds turn into a restriction fast. This one doesn’t.

The big upgrade here is the 3.5-liter plenum paired with a 90mm throttle body flange that uses the common 5.0L Ford bolt pattern. That combo gives the engine far more breathing room at higher RPM, helping it pull cleanly past the midrange instead of falling off. Fair warning: on a mild street build, you may give up a little low-end snap compared to smaller runner manifolds. That’s the tradeoff for real airflow and top-end power.

The Ultra Race manifold is also easy to work with thanks to its three-piece modular design. The plenum can be removed for porting, cleaning, or changes without pulling the entire intake. Long, tapered runners and raised velocity stacks keep airflow smooth and consistent at high RPM, so the engine gets the air it needs when it’s being pushed hard.

Multiple NPT ports are included for vacuum routing and sensors, along with provisions for a secondary fuel rail and additional injectors. This makes it a solid choice for builds that keep evolving as power levels go up.

The Skunk2 Ultra Race Intake Manifold is available in silver or black. Both finishes look clean in the engine bay, with the black option being a great choice if you want a stealthy look without worrying about paint peeling over time.

For high-output street builds or track-focused D-series cars, this intake manifold gives you airflow headroom you can actually use.
