Rywire B/D Series Budget Tucked Harness - 1992-1995 Honda Civic (EG)

Want a tucked engine bay without paying full custom harness money? This Rywire budget tucked harness gives you a clean engine bay at a price that won't make you cry. You get the tucked engine side harness plus the EG chassis adapter in the box, so it actually works as a complete plug and play engine swap harness for your 1992-1995 Civic. It fits both B series and D series engines, whether you're doing a B series swap or just refreshing your D series with clean wiring. Rywire builds this in the USA using Mil Spec Teflon coated wire rated to 200°C, which matters when you've got a header cooking the back of your block.

You get single black wire color and expandable loom instead of the full mil spec multicolor finish, but you still get brand new connectors, pneumatic crimps, and clear labels on every branch. That combo makes the harness easy to route, easy to troubleshoot, and way cleaner than trying to rework a 30 year old factory harness that's been cooked and hacked up. Includes Engine Harness and Chassis Adapter

Every Rywire B/D Series harness comes with two pieces: the B1 base engine harness and the corresponding jumper harness for your chassis. For the EG Civic, you get the tucked B1 base harness that covers your engine sensors and injectors, plus the EG chassis adapter that plugs into your factory dash side harness. This split design means you can reuse the engine side harness later if you swap it into a different chassis. Just grab a different adapter and you're good to go.

Pick Your ECU Type

Rywire makes this harness in two versions depending on whether you're running OBD1 or OBD2. Make sure you pick the right one for your ECU setup.

OBD1 Version (SKU: RYW-RY-B1-EG)

This version has OBD1 ECU plugs (A, B, and D connectors) and OBD1 distributor plugs. Use this if you're running a Hondata, Kpro, or stock OBD1 ECU.

OBD2 Version (SKU: RYW-RY-B2-EG-2B)

This version has OBD2 ECU connectors. Use this if you're running an OBD2 ECU or an adapter harness that converts OBD2 to OBD1.

What's Not Included

Rywire doesn't include injector adapters, alternator adapters, charge harnesses, VTEC solenoid bolts, or ground kits with this harness. You'll need to order those separately if your swap needs them. Most B series swaps into EG Civics need at least injector adapters if you're mixing engine and chassis generations.

Why Mil Spec Wire Matters

Rywire uses Mil Spec Teflon coated wire rated to 200°C. That's way higher than the cheap PVC wire you'll find on budget harnesses from other companies. Teflon coating doesn't melt when it gets cooked by your header, and it resists oil and fuel if you spring a leak. Your harness will last instead of turning into a crispy mess after a few heat cycles.

Reusable Engine Side Harness

Rywire splits the engine harness from the chassis side jumper harness. If you end up swapping this engine into a different chassis later, or moving to an Integra or Del Sol, you can keep the engine side harness and just buy a different chassis adapter. This saves you from buying a whole new harness every time you change cars.
