Rywire B-Series Coil-On-Plug (COP) Adapter Plate

The Rywire B-Series coil-on-plug adapter plate is the mounting piece that lets you run modern coil-on-plug ignition on a B-series engine. It bolts either S2000 or K-series coil packs onto your B-series head, so you can ditch the distributor and move to individual coils. It's machined from billet aluminum and finished in a clean brushed, clear-anodized look, so it looks the part on top of the valve cover.

Why Go Coil-On-Plug

Converting a B-series to COP removes the distributor and its wear points, and gives each cylinder its own coil for stronger, more reliable spark, especially at high RPM where a distributor-based ignition starts to struggle. It also cleans up the back of the head and opens the door to running the widely available S2000 or K-series coils. This plate is what makes that mounting possible on the B-series.
