What It Actually Does

The FK8, FL5, and DE5 come with an Adaptive Damper System (ADS) that adjusts suspension feel across the driving modes, soft in Comfort, firm in R+. The ECU monitors those dampers continuously.

Swap them for coilovers and that circuit is now open, so the ECU reports a fault and throws an ADS warning on the instrument cluster that won't clear, because from the car's perspective something genuinely is missing. This canceller mimics the signal the factory dampers send to the ECU, so the car sees what it expects and the warning goes away. Nothing else about how the car runs changes.

One Canceller, All Three Chassis

Worth noting, since the coilovers themselves aren't shared but this is.

The FK8 and the FL5/DE5 use different coilovers, they're different suspension setups, so your coilover choice is chassis-specific. But the ADS error they all throw is the same, which means this one canceller works across the FK8, FL5, and DE5 alike.
