Revel Dry Carbon Hood Scoop Cover for 17-21 Civic Type R

Revel Dry Carbon Hood Scoop Cover for 17-21 Civic Type R

If you want a clean OEM plus look on your FK8's hood, the Revel Dry Carbon Hood Scoop Cover is the move. This is a dry carbon fiber hood piece that goes right over the factory scoop area, so you keep your stock panels and still get that legit carbon finish. Revel focuses on OEM fitment, not a universal part that kind of works. The shape follows the factory contours, so your Type R hood modification looks intentional, not like a stuck on accessory. The finish is a gloss carbon hood scoop with visible weave, plus a UV protected coating to help keep the clear coat from chalking up when your car lives outside.

Key Features

• Material: Premium dry carbon construction, not fiberglass with a skin
• Fitment: Built for OEM overlay fit, this hood cover sits flush over the factory piece
• Finish: Multi-layer gloss clear that lets the carbon weave show, it looks right in direct sun
• Protection: UV coating helps the finish last, especially on daily driven cars

Call it what it is, a high quality carbon hood scoop cover that helps you upgrade Civic exterior styling fast. If you want a factory like fit and a real carbon look, this Civic Type R carbon hood cover nails it. If you want a weight saving full hood replacement, this is not that, it is an overlay. For most owners, that trade off is worth it because you get the premium look with a straightforward install and a finish that stays sharp.
