Radium Engineering Universal DIY PTFE AN Hose Kit - 6AN / 8AN / 10AN (Carbon-Lined Braided)

This is a universal DIY PTFE AN hose kit from Radium Engineering, giving you everything you need to build your own custom-length braided PTFE lines. Each kit comes with 14.75 feet of black braided PTFE hose and six hose ends (two straight, two 45-degree, two 90-degree), so you can route and cut your own hoses to fit the car instead of settling for pre-made lengths. It's offered in 6AN, 8AN, and 10AN.

Why PTFE

PTFE is the standard for a chemically inert hose material. It resists the harsh fluids in a modern performance car far better than rubber, which is why it's what you want for anything that matters. This hose is compatible with:

• Fuel (including ethanol blends and race fuels)
• Oil
• Transmission fluid
• Power steering fluid
• Coolant

PTFE also has virtually zero permeation, so unlike traditional rubber hose it won't weep vapors or leave that fuel smell in the garage. That makes it a cleaner, safer choice, especially on a fuel system.

Carbon-Lined to Dissipate Static

Radium's PTFE hose is now carbon-lined, which dissipates the static charge that builds up as fuel moves through the line. On a high-flow fueling system that static buildup is a real concern, and the carbon-lined (conductive) core handles it. The hose ends are machined from aluminum, black anodized, and all swiveling type. They're PTFE-specific, so they only work with PTFE hose, not rubber hose. Radium doesn't offer PTFE hose ends in any sizes or angles beyond what's included here. If you need a different size or angle to finish your setup, any PTFE-specific hose end from another supplier will work with this hose.

Install the Right Way

Assembling PTFE hose is not the same as assembling rubber hose, and it's easy to get wrong. We strongly recommend that assembly be done by an experienced installer, and that every assembly is pressure tested before it's put into service. A PTFE line that wasn't assembled correctly can fail under pressure, and on a fuel or oil line that's not something to find out on the road or at the track. Build it right, test it, then run it.
