PRODUCT DETAILS

PRL Motorsports Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe (1051-1-0) - 2019-2025 Acura RDX

The factory RDX inlet feeding the turbo is plastic and rubber, and it carries a resonator that restricts flow into the compressor. This PRL kit replaces the whole path with cast aluminum, titanium, and silicone, deleting the resonator and smoothing induction into the turbo. Complete drop-in, no tune, and it works with your factory airbox.

Genuinely Plug-And-Play

Worth stating clearly, because some turbo inlet upgrades depend on a matching intake.

This one doesn't. It's a complete standalone kit that works with your factory airbox and turbo, and it includes OEM-style molded fittings and lines for the evaporative and cooling systems so everything reconnects where it should.

That means no hunting for supporting parts and no ECU calibration. Everything needed to route the evap and coolant lines properly is in the box, so it goes in and works.

Resonator Delete And A Bigger Crossover

Two changes over the factory inlet, both of which help flow.

The resonator is gone. The factory inlet pipe carries a resonator whose job is quieting induction noise, and like most noise-control features it costs airflow to do it. Removing it opens up the path and, as a bonus, lets you actually hear the turbo working.

The crossover is larger. The factory crossover is smaller than it needs to be, and the transitions aren't matched. This kit increases the crossover diameter and uses a stepped silicone transition to port-match the system, so air moves smoothly and at volume into the turbo.

Together those changes mean the compressor draws a cleaner, larger supply, which shows up as better throttle response and more power potential.

Motorsport-Grade Materials Throughout

This is where the factory plastic and rubber get replaced with parts built to last.

The turbo inlet is cast 6061 aluminum. The crossover pipe is titanium, pie-cut and welded, which is light, strong, handles heat exceptionally well, and doesn't soak engine bay heat into the intake air the way aluminum or plastic would. Brackets are 304 stainless, the fittings are PA66 injection-molded rather than brittle factory plastic, and the couplers are high-temp multi-layer silicone.

Every material is chosen for the job it's doing, which is why this holds up where the factory parts eventually wear, crack, or heat soak.

It Transforms The Bay

Beyond the function, this is a genuinely good-looking upgrade.

Raw titanium and aluminum with premium welded construction reads as a serious build, and it replaces some of the least attractive plastic in the RDX engine bay. Titanium in particular develops character as it heat cycles, so it looks better with age rather than worse.

On a car where you open the hood and see mostly plastic covers, this is the piece that changes the whole impression.

Pair It With The Stage 1 Intake

The natural companion, since the two sit right next to each other in the airflow path.

This inlet pipe smooths and enlarges the route from the airbox into the turbo. The PRL Stage 1 Intake System handles everything upstream of it, opening up how air gets to the airbox in the first place. Together they give you a clean, unrestricted path from the intake all the way to the turbo.

The inlet is a real upgrade on its own. Run it with the Stage 1 and you've addressed the whole induction side rather than one section of it.

No Tune

No ECU calibration required. You're smoothing and enlarging the path air takes into the turbo, not changing how it's measured, so the factory tune stays correct.

What's In The Box

  • Cast aluminum turbo inlet
  • Titanium crossover pipe
  • Molded evaporative and coolant lines with fittings
  • High-temp silicone couplers
  • Stainless steel clamps and hardware
  • Gaskets and seals for installation

Fitment

2019-2025 Acura RDX

Part number 1051-1-0.

Who Should Grab This

This is for the RDX owner who wants the inlet path to the turbo opened up properly, and who'd rather have titanium and aluminum than the factory plastic and rubber. Resonator deleted, larger crossover, better throttle response, and materials that last. It's a complete drop-in with everything needed in the box, and it needs no tune. Bolt it on and let the turbo breathe.

Fits: 2019-2025 Acura RDX. Part number: 1051-1-0. Construction: cast 6061 aluminum inlet, titanium crossover pipe, 304 stainless brackets, PA66 molded fittings, high-temp silicone. Function: deletes the factory resonator, increases crossover diameter, port-matched with stepped transition. Includes: evap and coolant lines with fittings, couplers, clamps, hardware, gaskets and seals. Tuning: no ECU calibration required. Pairs with: PRL Stage 1 Intake System.
