PCI Side Mount Slider Seat Rails - 1994-2001 Acura Integra
Installing a race seat in your DC Integra? You need seat rails that bolt to your factory seat mounting points. The PCI side mount slider seat rails bolt directly to your factory floor mounting locations and they're designed for side-mount race seats. Your factory seat rails won't work with aftermarket race seats because the mounting points are completely different. PCI's rails are laser cut and CNC bent from one piece of 1/8" steel, so they're lighter and stronger than cheap welded rails. The sliders use 4-bolt mounting instead of 2-bolt, which makes them way stronger. If you're installing a side-mount race seat in your Integra, these are the rails you need.
Here's Why You Need Proper Seat Rails
You can't just bolt a race seat directly to your floor. Race seats use side-mount brackets that don't line up with your factory floor mounting points. You need seat rails that bolt to your factory floor mounts on the bottom and connect to your race seat's side-mount brackets on top. Cheap seat rails are welded together from multiple pieces and they flex under hard cornering or in a crash. PCI's rails are laser cut and CNC bent from a single piece of 1/8" steel, so there are no welds to fail. The one-piece design's way stiffer than welded rails.
4-Bolt Slider Mounting is Stronger Than 2-Bolt
Most cheap seat rails use sliders that mount with 2 bolts. PCI's S1 sliders mount with 4 bolts per slider. That's twice as many mounting points, which means the slider's way less likely to tear off the base under load. If you're tracking your Integra or you're installing a harness bar and race harness, you need strong seat rails. Weak rails can fail in a crash.
1/8" Steel is Lighter and Just as Strong as 3/16" Steel
PCI uses 1/8" (3mm) steel instead of 3/16" steel. You'd think thicker steel would be stronger, but PCI's one-piece CNC bent design is just as strong as 3/16" welded rails while being way lighter. The bends in the metal add strength and stiffness where it's needed. Companies that use 3/16" steel do it because it's easier to weld thick steel. PCI's design doesn't need welds, so they can use thinner, lighter steel without sacrificing strength.
Adjustable Width and Fore/Aft Position
The PCI rails are adjustable for width and fore/aft position. Standard side mounts adjust from 14.75" to 17.5" wide. Wide side mounts adjust from 16" to 18.75" wide. You've got 9.625" of fore/aft adjustment (front to back). That means you can position your seat exactly where you want it for your driving position. The sliders use bottom-locking hardware, so you adjust the seat position with one tool.
Side-Mount Seats Only
These rails are for side-mount race seats only. They don't work with bottom-mount seats. Side-mount seats have mounting brackets on the sides of the seat that bolt to the side mounts on the rails. Bottom-mount seats have mounting holes on the bottom of the seat. If you're not sure which type of seat you have, check your seat's mounting hardware. If it mounts from the sides, you need these rails. If it mounts from the bottom, you need bottom-mount rails.
Left Hand Drive vs Right Hand Drive
The rails fit left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) Integras. The rails are sold individually (driver side or passenger side). The side designation is based on left-hand drive. If you've got a LHD Integra, order "driver" for the driver side and "passenger" for the passenger side. If you've got a RHD Integra, order "passenger" for the driver side (right side of the car) and "driver" for the passenger side (left side of the car).

Note: These rails are for side-mount race seats only. They don't work with bottom-mount seats. If you're not sure which type of seat you have, check your seat's mounting brackets. Rails are sold individually. Order two rails (one driver, one passenger) for a complete install. Side designation is based on left-hand drive vehicles. For LHD cars, order "driver" for driver side and "passenger" for passenger side. For RHD cars, order "passenger" for driver side (right side) and "driver" for passenger side (left side). The rails bolt to your factory floor mounting locations. You're not drilling new holes or modifying your floor. Torque all mounting hardware to spec. If the bolts aren't tight, the rails can shift or come loose under hard cornering or in a crash. If you're installing a harness bar and race harness, use the 5 or 6-point sub belt mounting locations on the rails to route your sub straps properly.
