PCI Front Upper Camber Arms - 1989-1993 Acura Integra (DA)

Building or refreshing a DA and the alignment numbers just won't come in? You're not doing anything wrong, your Integra simply doesn't have front camber adjustment from the factory. The upper arms are a fixed length, so once the car's lowered, or once 35 years of life has shifted things around a little, camber lands wherever it lands and you live with it. These PCI front upper camber arms replace those fixed arms with adjustable upper control arms, so camber finally becomes a number you choose instead of a number you accept.

Your Stock Arms Have Zero Adjustment

Here's the frustrating truth about the DA. There's no camber bolt, no slot, no eccentric, nothing. The factory arm is a fixed length and that's the end of the conversation. So you drop the car on coilovers, camber goes negative, and your alignment tech sets your toe, prints out a sheet with camber sitting in the red, and tells you there's nothing he can do. Meanwhile you're wearing the inside edge off tires that should have lasted twice as long. These arms give you up to 1.5 degrees positive and 2.5 degrees negative over stock, which is a wide enough spread to pull a lowered street DA back to sane numbers and save your tires, or to deliberately run aggressive camber if the car sees track time. Your build, your call.

7075-T6, Not The Usual Aluminum

Worth pointing out because it's a genuine step up. The adjustable spherical bearing block on these is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, which is a notably stronger alloy than what typically shows up in suspension pieces. That matters on a part holding your wheel in place, you want the piece managing all that load to be the last thing you ever worry about. Around it you've got CNC machined and heat treated stainless steel high-misalignment 45 degree spacers, powder coated 3/16" steel arms, and fine thread M10 grade 10.9 hardware. Real parts, all the way through.

Compact Enough To Keep Your Travel

A lot of camber arms and camber kits solve one problem and create another, they're bulky enough that something contacts at full compression, so you quietly lose suspension travel to gain adjustment. That's a bad deal on any car and a worse one on a DA that's already sitting lower than the factory ever intended. PCI built these compact specifically so you keep your factory suspension travel. Adjustment gained, nothing given up.

No Flex Means Numbers That Stick

Setting camber only helps if it stays set. These use very stiff 3/16" steel arms, because a flexy arm deflects under load and your geometry wanders every time you turn in hard, hit the brakes, or get on the power. Yours won't. What you feel is sharper cornering, more consistent braking, and better throttle response, not from making power, but from your suspension holding the numbers you gave it instead of flexing through the corner.

Rebuildable, So You Buy Them Once

These are built to stay on the car. They're long lasting and low maintenance, and when the bearings finally wear out after years of hard use, they're fully rebuildable, so you refresh them rather than buying a whole new set. On a car this old that you're clearly investing in, that's the right way to do it.

Straight Talk

Couple of honest notes. Spherical bearings transmit more road noise and small vibration than the rubber bushings in your factory arms, that's the cost of killing the deflection, and on a lowered or track-driven DA it's a trade most people forget about within a week. Also, camber arms fix camber. They don't fix worn ball joints, shot bushings, or a tweaked chassis. On a car pushing 35 years old, sort the rest of the front end out first and these will do their part properly.
