Lifeline FIA Roll Cage Padding (Type A)

This is Lifeline's FIA-grade roll cage padding, the real protective padding that goes where your helmet or body could contact the cage in a crash, not the soft foam wrap that's only there for looks. It conforms to the latest FIA standard for roll cage padding, and Lifeline's Type A product is built to exceed that standard, having been through rigorous impact and flame-retardancy lab testing. It's lightweight, easy to install, and available in a wide range of tube sizes to match your cage.

Type A, Built To Exceed The Standard

Type A is Lifeline's high-impact padding, developed for superior in-cockpit protection. It doesn't just meet the current FIA requirements, it's engineered past them with an eye toward staying compliant as standards evolve, so you're getting current, properly tested safety gear rather than generic foam. If your car sees real track or competition use, this is the padding that's actually doing a job in an impact.

Cut To Fit, Easy Install

Each section is supplied in a 600mm (24") length that you can easily cut to fit your cage, and it comes with heavy-duty double-sided tape to hold it in place. Each piece includes 5 strips of tape, so you can mount it cleanly without hunting for your own adhesive.

This is sold per 24" section, so figure out how much coverage your cage needs, every bar within reach of the driver's helmet, arms, and shoulders, and order enough sections to cover it.
