Kraftwerks Supercharger Race Kit - Honda D Series Engine

Want to make serious power from your D series engine? The Kraftwerks supercharger race kit adds around 150 horsepower and 80 lb-ft of torque to your D16A, D16Z, or D16Y engine with a linear power curve that builds smoothly from idle to redline. This kit uses a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger with traction drive technology, which means instant throttle response and no power spikes or surging. You get boost as soon as you crack the throttle, and the power builds progressively all the way to redline. It drives like a naturally aspirated car with way more power.

This is a Race Kit

Important: This is a race kit, not a bolt-on street kit. It does not include an intercooler, piping, or fuel management. You'll need to fabricate your own intercooler setup and piping. You also have to delete your A/C compressor and power steering to make room for the supercharger. This kit is for race cars, track builds, or serious street builds where you're comfortable with custom fabrication. If you want a complete bolt-on kit that keeps your A/C and power steering, this is not it.

Rotrex C30-94 Supercharger

The Rotrex C30-94 uses a traction drive system instead of gears, so it runs quieter and more efficiently than traditional superchargers. It's compact, spins to high RPM without beating itself up, and stays cooler under load. The supercharger has its own self-contained oiling system with an oil cooler, so you don't have to tap into your engine oil. This keeps the supercharger at the right temperature and reduces intake air temps, which lowers the risk of detonation and helps your engine stay reliable even when you're making big power.

Linear Power Curve

This kit gives you a smooth, linear power curve instead of the sharp spikes you get from turbo setups. Boost comes on early and builds progressively, so the car feels like a high revving naturally aspirated engine with way more torque. You don't get hit with a wall of boost that lights up the tires or upsets the chassis. The power is predictable and easy to manage, which makes the car faster and more fun to drive.

What's Included in the Kit

This kit includes the Rotrex C30-94 supercharger with self-contained oiling system, oil cooler, CNC machined brackets, idler pulley, tensioner, hardware, and a silicone air inlet elbow. The brackets are designed to work with stock and aftermarket pulleys, so you can tune the boost level by swapping pulleys. Everything is high quality and fits precisely.

What You Need to Add

You need to supply your own intercooler, intercooler piping, fuel management system, and tune. This kit does not include any of these parts. You'll also need a header with narrow pairing like a MegaPower or Alpha Series header to clear the supercharger. Plan on upgrading your clutch, fuel injectors, and fuel pump to handle the extra power. Grams fuel injectors and fuel pump are recommended.

A/C and Power Steering Delete Required

You have to remove your A/C compressor and power steering to make room for the supercharger. If you need A/C or power steering on your car, this kit is not for you. This is a race kit designed for cars where those accessories are already gone or you're willing to delete them.
