Innovative Mounts 96-00 Civic K-Swap Trans Bracket EG Subframe - Part #90011-SB
This is the driver side transmission bracket for a K-swapped 96-00 Civic running an EG subframe. It is one of the bracket set pieces, sold on its own for anyone replacing a damaged bracket or assembling the swap in stages.
What It Is and Why It Works
The transmission side carries the most leverage of any mount position, so its bracket has to locate the mount precisely or the gearbox moves under load. This bracket is built for an EK or EJ chassis running the EG subframe and rear crossmember with a K-series and a manual transmission. Stress analyzed, CAD designed, same construction as the rest of Innovative's bracket line.
Single part, no bushing choice. The decision is subframe: EG or stock, and that determines every bracket on the car.

What to Know Before You Buy
Confirm the subframe first. EG subframe and stock EK subframe swaps use different brackets across every position, and the parts look similar enough in photos that people order by picture rather than by part number.
Look at the mount that bolts to it. This bracket pairs with the transmission mount from the EG subframe kits, and a bracket from one kit with a mount from the other will put the gearbox at the wrong angle even if the bolts line up.
Buy the full kit for a fresh swap. This page is for repairs and for correcting a used swap that arrived with something improvised. Parts cannot be returned once they have been bolted in.
