Innovative Mounts 96-00 Civic Hydro to Cable Transmission Bracket - Part #40020-SB
This is the right-hand passenger side Civic transmission mounting bracket you need when you’re doing a hydro to cable Civic swap and stuffing a cable clutch Honda B series manual trans into a 1996 to 2000 Civic EJ or EK that started life with a hydraulic setup. Here’s the annoying part of the swap, the passenger side chassis mount location and the trans mount interface don’t line up between hydro and cable configurations. Without a conversion bracket, the cable trans doesn’t have a clean mounting point on that side.
This cable transmission bracket gives you the correct passenger side mounting interface so the trans sits supported where Honda put the mount in the chassis. It’s a bracket only deal. It does not include any clutch actuation parts, so don’t expect it to magically convert your pedal feel on its own.

The actuator is not included with this bracket. Innovative sells the bracket and actuator together as part 40020. For a cable to hydraulic conversion instead, the actuator is 41000 or 41001.
