This is the passenger side bracket for converting a 96-00 Civic HX away from its CVT to a B or D-series manual transmission. It is one of the pieces out of the 10052 conversion kit, sold on its own for anyone replacing a bracket or building the conversion up in stages.

What It Is and Why It Works

The HX chassis mounts its CVT differently than a standard Civic mounts a manual box, so the passenger side needs a bracket that bridges that difference. This one does, and it works with Innovative's 10120 or B10120 mount, or with a factory passenger mount from a 92-95 Civic or 94-01 Integra. That flexibility matters on a budget conversion where a used factory mount is already on the shelf.

What to Know Before You Buy

This is an HX specific part. A standard 96-00 Civic that already has a manual does not need it, and a car that came with a hydraulic manual uses the normal EK brackets. The CVT is the thing that makes this bracket necessary.

Decide on the mount first. It pairs with the Innovative 10120 or B10120, or a used factory passenger mount from an EG Civic or DC Integra. Buying the bracket without knowing which mount is going on it leaves the job half planned.

If you are starting the conversion, the 10052 kit covers all four positions and costs less than the parts separately. Parts cannot be returned once they have been bolted in.
