What It Is and Why It Works

A bolt-on bracket that lets you keep all the original Civic air conditioning components with an H-series engine in the car. No aftermarket compressor, no custom lines, no hunting for a donor setup. It uses the factory A/C parts you already have in the bay.

Simple part, one SKU, no durometer choice. The value is that it exists at all, because the alternative is doing without A/C or paying a shop to fabricate a mount and adapt the lines.

This bracket is for keeping factory A/C on an H-swapped EK. It is not a mount and does nothing on a car with its original engine.

What to Know Before You Buy

Decide on A/C before the engine goes in, not after. Retrofitting the bracket once the bay is finished means pulling the intake side apart again and possibly evacuating the system a second time.

Have the system checked while it is open. A 25 year old EK A/C system that has been sitting apart during a swap usually needs a drier and an evacuation regardless, and doing that at the same time as the bracket is one trip to the shop instead of two.

This is a bracket, not a complete A/C solution. You still need the compressor, lines, condenser and a system that holds a charge. If any of that was removed during the swap, price it out before ordering. Parts cannot be returned once they have been bolted in.
