Innovative Mounts 96-00 Civic B-Series Rear T-Bracket - Part #50031
The rear T-bracket is what the rear mount bolts to on a B-swapped EK, and it is one of the parts people discover they need halfway through a swap. If you are putting a B-series into a 96-00 Civic, this is the piece that ties the back of the engine to the chassis.
What It Is and Why It Works
A stress analyzed bracket with the same no-tear bushings Innovative uses across the line, and hardware is included. It locates the rear of a B-series where the mount kit expects, which is what keeps the engine from rotating back under load. On a swapped EK the rear position sees the most movement, so a bracket that flexes or was cobbled together shows up as wheel hop and a shifter that moves when you get on the throttle.
One part, no bushing choice to make. What matters is that it is the correct bracket for the chassis and engine combination.

This is the EK version. The equivalent bracket for an 88-91 Civic or CRX and 90-93 Integra is 59331, which we already carry.
What to Know Before You Buy
Order it with the mount kit rather than after. The rear bracket is not in most B-swap mount kits, and finding that out with the engine hanging from a hoist is how a Saturday swap becomes a two week project.
Do not reuse a questionable bracket from a used swap. Cracked welds and elongated holes are common on brackets that have been through a few owners, and the rear position is the one that punishes a weak bracket.
If your EK is going K-series rather than B-series, this is the wrong part. The K-swap brackets are B90050-SB and the rear sub bracket is 90030-SB. Parts cannot be returned once they have been bolted in.
