Innovative Mounts Auto to Manual Cable Conversion Kit for EG Civic - 49552
Plenty of clean EG shells started life as automatics, and the cheapest path to a fun car is a cable transmission swap. The mounts are where that job either goes smoothly or turns into a weekend of measuring. This kit covers the four mount positions for converting a 92-95 Civic EG, EH or EJ from the factory automatic to a B or D-series with a cable transmission, and it includes the cable heim and actuator.
What It Is and Why It Works
An automatic EG and a manual EG do not share mount geometry, so bolting a cable box in with the auto mounts leaves the engine sitting wrong, which shows up as axle bind, a shifter that fights you, and vibration nobody can trace. These mounts place the engine and transmission in the manual position, with tapered polyurethane bushings doing the damping instead of Honda's fluid filled rubber.
Including the cable heim and actuator matters more than it sounds. Those two pieces are the usual missing links on an auto to manual conversion, and buying them separately after the fact is how a one weekend job becomes three.

This is the cable transmission version. If you are converting to a hydraulic manual box, the 49550 and 40152 kits are the ones you want. To run the engine side mount from this kit you need the B-series timing belt side post bracket from a 97-01 CR-V or 99-00 Civic Si, sold as B50050.
What to Know Before You Buy
Know which transmission you bought before you order mounts. Cable boxes came in 92-93 cars and hydraulic in 94-95, and people regularly buy the wrong kit because they shopped by the year of the shell rather than the transmission sitting on the floor of the garage.
Get the B50050 post bracket in the same order if you are running a B-series. It is a small part that stops the job cold, and it is not in this box.
For a street EG, 60A or 75A. The chassis is light and quiet enough that a stiff bushing is loud out of proportion to what you gain. Also plan on new axles and a clutch while the drivetrain is out, because both are cheap compared to doing this twice. Mounts cannot be returned once bolted down.
