What It Is and Why It Works

A simple bracket that positions the stock 88-95 Civic single overhead cam throttle cable correctly for a B-series conversion. No adapting, no aftermarket cable, no guessing at the throttle geometry. At $27 it is one of the cheapest parts in a swap and removes a problem that otherwise eats an afternoon.

One important limit: it does not work with the LS or GS-R intake manifold, which uses the B16A or Type-R throttle cable bracket instead. Check which manifold is on your engine before ordering.

Look at your intake manifold first. LS and GS-R manifolds are the two most common B-series manifolds in swapped cars, and this bracket is not for them. If your engine is a B18B or a B18C1 with its original manifold, check before ordering.

Buy it with the rest of the swap parts. It costs less than a set of spark plugs and it is exactly the kind of small piece that stops a car from starting on the day you hoped to drive it.

If you already bought an aftermarket throttle cable to solve this, you may not need the bracket at all. The point of this part is keeping the cable you already have. Parts cannot be returned once they have been bolted in.
