Innovative Mounts 88-91 Prelude Mount Kit B20A - Part #29151
The third gen Prelude is the forgotten one, and parts for a BA chassis are thin on the ground. This is the replacement mount kit for an 88-91 Prelude that came with a B20A and a five speed, and it is one of the few mount options that exist for the car.
What It Is and Why It Works
No-tear polyurethane bushings replacing the factory fluid filled mounts, CAD designed and stress analyzed like the rest of the line. On a car this age the originals are collapsed, so the B20A rocks under load, the axles bind, and the shifter goes vague. These hold the engine in the stock position and stop the movement.
75A is the durometer for a street driven BA Prelude, which is essentially all of them at this point. 85A for track use, 95A for race. The BA is a comfortable car and stiff bushings work against what makes it good.

B21A Cars Need Extra Parts
If your car came with the B21A, found in the 90-91 Prelude Si and SR, it may require additional modification or parts. To run this kit with a B21A you must use the stock Honda driver side B20A post mount engine bracket, part 11910-PK1-000, along with the chassis brackets 50824-SF1-010 and 50824-SF1-030. Source those before ordering the mounts, because a B21A car without them will not bolt up.
What to Know Before You Buy
Check which engine is in the car before you order. B20A and B21A look close enough that people assume either is fine, and the B21A needs three specific Honda brackets that are not included in this mount kit.
We recommend installing all mounts at the same time, to ensure uniform performance.
75A on anything street driven. 85a or 95a recommended for the track or higher performance applications.
Mounts cannot be returned once they have been bolted down, so confirm the engine code first.
B21A cars need extra parts.
