PRODUCT DETAILS

Innovative Mounts Crossmember Bushing/Caster Set for 88-91 Civic/CRX - 59103

This is the replacement bushing and caster adjustment set for Innovative's 88-91 Civic and CRX crossmember. It is a service part for their crossmember bar, not a universal suspension kit.

What It Is and Why It Works

Four bushings and two caster spacers, CAD designed. The bushings are the wear item on a traction crossmember, and when they go the wheel hop the bar was fitted to eliminate starts coming back. The caster spacers help center the wheel properly in the wheel well, which matters on a car where the crossmember has shifted the geometry.

This set is designed specifically for the Innovative Mounts crossmember bar. It is not a replacement for factory Honda crossmember bushings.

What to Know Before You Buy

You need the Innovative crossmember for this to fit. Like their shift linkage joints, this is a service part for one of their own assemblies rather than an OEM replacement. If your EF runs the stock crossmember, this set does not apply.

The caster spacers are not shown in the photo but are included, which their listing mentions only in passing.

If wheel hop has returned on a car that already has the crossmember, worn bushings are the likely cause and this is the fix. Parts cannot be returned once they have been installed.
