Innovative Mounts 88-91 Civic/CRX B-Series Hydro Mount Kit (RHD) - Part #49153
Most 88-91 Civics and CRXs left the factory with a D-series and a cable box, so the cars that came with a B-series and a hydraulic transmission get left out of most mount listings. This kit is for those: the stock B-series EE8, EE9 and EF9 chassis, including RHD cars, that still run a hydraulic transmission. If you imported an SiR or you are keeping a factory B-series car honest, this is the set.
What It Is and Why It Works
Four mount positions, formed steel bodies, tapered polyurethane bushings instead of the factory fluid filled rubber. On a 30+ year-old EF the original mounts are likely worn or collapsed, which is why the engine rocks under load, the axles bind, and the shifter feels like it is connected through a pillow. These put the B-series back in the stock mounting position and mitigate the movement of the drivetrain under load.
Bushing choice follows how the car is used. 60A is the closest to stock and the right call for a street EF. 75A suits a spirited or occasional track car. 85A and 95A are track and drag territory, and they will make a light chassis with no sound deadening loud.

What to Know Before You Buy
Verify what is actually in the car. EFs have been mixed and matched for decades, and the mount kit follows the engine and transmission combination, not the badge. Hydraulic versus cable is the part that decides this purchase for you.
For a street setup, we recommend a 60a or 75a bushing durometer. This prioritizes power delivery and maintains stable motion of the drivetrain under load, without sacrificing too much comfort in vibration and harshness. Higher durometers, 85a and 95a, are stiffer and designed for track and other higher performance applications.
Mounts cannot be returned once they have been bolted down.
This kit was made for the factory B-series car or an RHD chassis. A USDM D-series car with a cable transmission uses the 19151 or B19151 kits, and a B-swapped EF uses the 19150 series.
