Innovative Mounts 88-01 Prelude Rear Engine Mount F/H-Series - Part #29631
This is the rear mount for a Prelude, and it covers a wider span than most parts in the catalog: every BA and BB chassis from 1988 through 2001 with an F or H-series and a manual transmission. On a 25 to 35 year old car, this position is usually the one letting the drivetrain rock back under power.
What It Is and Why It Works
No-tear polyurethane bushing replacing the factory fluid filled mount. The rear position takes the torque reaction on a front drive car, so once the OEM rubber splits you get the drivetrain rotating back on every pull and snapping forward when you lift. The poly stops that motion and does not degrade with age the way the original does.
Innovative lists this as a replacement and conversion mount, so it covers both a stock H22 car and an F to H swap. 75A is the street durometer, 85A for track and boost, 95A for race.

What to Know Before You Buy
This mount spans four generations of Prelude, which is unusual and worth a second look at your own car before ordering. If you are unsure whether 29631 or 59630 is right for your chassis, ask us rather than guessing.
Do the front torque mount at the same time. On a BB Prelude the front and rear positions wear together, and the front is 29640 or 29740 depending on whether you run the competition traction bar.
75A on anything street driven. The Prelude masks vibration better than a Civic, but 85A and 95A mounts will still transfer a fair bit of noise and vibrations to the driver and chassis.
Mounts cannot be returned once they have been bolted down.
