This is the driver side engine mount for the first gen Honda CR-Z. It pairs with the 11520 passenger mount and both appear in the 11550 kit.

What It Is and Why It Works

No-tear polyurethane bushing replacing the factory fluid filled mount, CAD designed and stress analyzed, about 6 lbs. The CR-Z drivetrain carries the IMA motor between the engine and transmission, so engine movement transmits through more of the driveline than it would in a conventional car. Holding the driver side still cleans up idle vibration and the rocking a high mileage ZF1 develops.

75A is the durometer for a street driven CR-Z, which covers nearly all of them. 85A and 95A are track and race options and will be noticeable in a car this well insulated.

This is the driver side position. The passenger side is 11520 and the complete kit covering the car is 11550.

What to Know Before You Buy

Rule out the mounts before chasing the hybrid system. CR-Z owners with a vibration usually start with the expensive diagnosis, and fluid filled mounts at 100k miles are the cheap thing to check first.

Buy the 11550 kit if more than one position is worn. On a car this age they are the same age, and parts support for this chassis is thin and getting thinner.

75A on anything street driven. The LEA does not make the torque to justify stiffer, and the extra noise buys nothing. Mounts cannot be returned once they have been bolted down.
