Hybrid Racing Burnt Titanium Shift Rod - Customize Your Shifter Feel & Look (110mm / 140mm / 170mm)

Want your Hybrid Racing shifter to look way cooler? This is the burnt titanium version of our shift rod, and it drops right in place of the stainless one. It's machined to the exact same specs as our stainless rod, so it fits and functions identically, with the same M10x1.5 thread that accepts most Honda and Acura shift knobs. The difference is all in the finish: heat-treated titanium with that signature burnt gradient of blues, golds, and purples running across the rod. We'll be straight with you, it doesn't make your shifter work any better. It just looks way, way better, and if you're building a clean interior it's one of the easiest ways to set your shifter apart.

The Burnt Titanium Finish

The color comes from heat-treating the titanium, which is what gives it that burnt, flame-anodized gradient instead of a flat coating that can chip or wear off. Because each rod is hand-finished, no two come out exactly alike: some lean more blue, some more gold, some more purple. That variation is the nature of burnt titanium, not a defect, so the rod you receive will be its own one-of-one piece and may look different from the photos. Titanium is also lighter than stainless, so it's a small weight savings up top, but let's be honest, the finish is the reason to buy it.

A Direct Swap

Installation is about as easy as it gets. Unbolt your existing stainless rod, bolt the titanium rod in its place, and you're done. Because it's dimensionally identical to the stainless rod, there's nothing to adjust or tune; the feel of your shifter stays exactly as it was, now with a far better-looking rod doing the job.

Three Lengths to Customize Feel and Look

The burnt titanium rod comes in three lengths, and all of them thread into the Hybrid Racing shifter catalog, so you can pick the one that gets you the knob height and stance you want. A shorter rod drops the knob lower and closer to the console; a longer rod raises it toward your hand for more reach and leverage. Each HR shifter ships with the length tuned for its chassis, so that's your baseline, but any length will work to tailor the feel and look:

• 110mm Short Rod (HYB-ROD-01-16): the lowest, most compact knob position. Best suited to the 2006-2011 Civic short shifter.
• 140mm Medium Rod (HYB-ROD-01-06): the versatile middle height. Works especially well with the 10th/11th Gen Civic, CR-Z, Fit, Prelude, Accord, and Acura TSX short shifters.
• 170mm Long Rod (HYB-ROD-01-04): the tallest knob position for more reach and leverage. Best suited to the Acura RSX and B/D-Series short shifters.

Does NOT Fit K-Swap Shifters

The titanium shift rod does not fit our K-Swap shifters (HYB-SAS-01-06 and HYB-SAS-01-11). It only works with our chassis-specific short shifters, so if you're running one of our K-Swap shifters, this rod won't work for you.
