It's light, the chassis is rigid, and the dynamics are better than an economy hatchback has any right to have. It's low on power but high on fun, which is exactly why it's become such a popular track car. The one thing holding the driving experience back is the factory shifter.

Fixing the Fit's Low Shifter Position

One of the biggest flaws we found driving our own Fit is how low the factory shifter sits. It puts the knob down and away from where your hand wants to be when you're driving hard. Our shifter lets you raise the knob by almost 45mm, bringing it up and much closer to the steering wheel so you're not reaching down for every shift. That one change makes the car feel far more connected on track.

Dial In the Shift You Want

The shifter adjusts in both directions so you can set it up to shift the way you like. By adjusting the knob height and the cable attachment points, you can get up to a 25% reduction in gate spacing (the side-to-side motion) and up to a 50% reduction in front-to-back throw. Set it short and tight for the track, or leave it closer to stock for daily driving, it's your call.

Built to Hybrid Racing Standards

This shifter carries the same design and build we put into the rest of our shifter line. It uses our changeable internal wave spring, so you can set the shift resistance to a stiffer or lighter feel by swapping the spring, and it's finished with our three-step finishing and anodizing process.
