These shifter cables were built for drivers who want the best shifting performance out of the 03-07 Honda Accord V6 and 04-08 Acura TL, and they've been dialed in through years of track and street use in our own test cars. Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade over the stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, and aluminum end links give the cables a firmer, tighter feel than OEM, which means fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. They're heat resistant up to 225°F with a max bend radius of 5" for the best cable life.

For the V6 Cars - Not the 4-Cylinder

Read this before you order. These cables are made for the V6 manual Accord and TL. If you're running a 03-07 4-cylinder Accord or an 04-08 TSX, you need our Shifter Cables for the 04-08 TSX & 03-07 Accord K24 (HYB-SCA-01-30) instead. Match the cables to your engine and you'll get the right fit the first time.

What Makes Them Better Than OEM

The job of these cables is to take the flex out of the shift linkage. Along with the permanently lubricated core and spherical bearings, they run stainless steel push rods and stainless steel swivel support tubes in place of the factory plastic ones, which are a known failure point on the OEM cables. The rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo. Every plastic piece that flexes or breaks on the stock cables has been replaced with metal, so the crisp shift you get on install day stays crisp.

Direct Replacement for Your OEM Cables

These are a direct replacement for your factory shifter cables. The aluminum bushings make installation a little simpler, but the bigger win is dropping another plastic part that flexes and causes a sloppy shift.

Because these are built for performance, expect a small increase in NVH, meaning a little more transmission noise and vibration can reach the cabin. The Accord and TL have plenty of interior panels and a deep console, so it stays minimal, but it won't be quite as quiet as the stock parts. That's an honest tradeoff for the tighter shift.

Direct fit for factory part numbers 54310-SDP-L02 (04-06 TL MT / 03-07 Accord V6 MT) and 54310-SEP-L01 (07-08 TL Type-S MT).

These cables fit the J35A8 and J30A4 transmissions found in those two vehicles. One install note: 07-08 Acura TL Type-S models use a different bushing than the 04-06 Sport models. It's inserted into the spherical rod end on the front-back lever on top of the transmission, so check the install guide for the details on your car.
