Hybrid Racing DC5 Shifter Mounting Plate - EG/EK/DC K Swaps

Doing a K swap in your EF, EG, EK, DA, or DC chassis and you want to run a DC5 RSX shifter? Our DC5 shifter mounting plate lets you bolt our Hybrid Racing RSX shifter (HYB-SAS-01-21 or HYB-SAS-01-22) or a factory RSX shifter directly to the top of your exhaust tunnel. The plate's CNC-machined from billet aluminum with a Dust Black finish. It comes with a rubber lower seal that keeps dust, dirt, and exhaust fumes from coming up through the shifter hole in your chassis. If you're doing a K swap and you want the best-feeling shifter setup, this is what you need.

Here's Why You'd Use This Plate

When you're doing a K swap in an EF, EG, EK, DA, or DC chassis, you need to figure out how to mount your shifter. The factory shifter location for your D series or B series doesn't line up with where your K series transmission shifter shaft is. Our DC5 shifter mounting plate bolts to the top of your exhaust tunnel and it positions our RSX shifter in the right spot to line up with your K series transmission. You're getting clean, direct shifter feel because the shifter's mounted solidly to your chassis instead of being mounted on flex or using adapter brackets.

DC5 Plate vs. TSX Plate - They're Different

We make two different shifter mounting plates: one for DC5 RSX shifters and one for TSX shifters. They're not interchangeable. The DC5 RSX shifter won't bolt to the TSX mounting plate, and the TSX shifter won't bolt to the DC5 mounting plate. The mounting hole patterns are different between the two shifters. Make sure you're ordering the correct plate for whichever shifter you're running. If you're running a DC5 RSX shifter (factory or our Hybrid Racing RSX shifter), you need this DC5 mounting plate. If you're running a TSX shifter, you need our TSX mounting plate instead.

CNC-Machined Billet Aluminum

We make this mounting plate from billet aluminum. It's CNC-machined, not stamped or cast. The plate's solid and it's not going to flex or crack under hard shifts. We finish it in Dust Black so it looks clean in your interior. The plate's designed to work with our Hybrid Racing RSX shifter or a factory RSX shifter. All the mounting hardware's included.

Rubber Seal Keeps Crud Out

The mounting plate comes with a rubber lower seal that sits between the plate and your chassis. The seal keeps dust, dirt, debris, and exhaust fumes from coming up through the shifter hole into your interior. Without the seal, you're getting exhaust smell in your car and dust everywhere. The seal blocks all that.

You Need to Drill Two Small Holes

Installing this plate requires drilling two small M8 holes in your exhaust tunnel. It's the same installation as our K-swap bolt-in shifters. The holes are small and they're in a spot you won't see. If you're not comfortable drilling holes in your chassis, get a shop to do it.
