PRODUCT DETAILS

Genuine Honda Front H Emblem (75710-S02-A01) - 1999-2000 Civic Si (EM1)

The H in the middle of your grille is the first thing anyone sees, and on a car that's now twenty-five years old it's usually looking tired. Chrome plating clouds and pits, the plastic behind it goes brittle, and a broken mounting base means an emblem that sits crooked or falls out entirely. This is the genuine Honda replacement, and it includes both the chrome H and the mounting standoff behind it.

Si Only, Not The Base Cars

Worth checking before you order. This fits the Si specifically, not the non-Si 99-00 Civic.

Same generation, different grille arrangement, different part. If your car isn't an Si, this isn't your emblem.

It Comes With The Standoff

Worth knowing, because it's the part people don't realize they need.

The emblem doesn't mount flat against the grille. There's a plastic base behind it that holds it at the correct depth and gives the screws something to thread into. That base is what usually fails, since it's plastic sitting in front of the radiator taking heat, road debris, and twenty-five years of weather.

Buying just an H badge and finding your standoff is cracked means a second order. This includes both, so you've got the complete assembly.

You'll Need Three Screws

Read this before install day, because they're not included.

The emblem attaches with three screws from the back side of the grille, and you'll need to supply them. If your originals are still in good shape they'll carry over, but on a car this age they may well be rusted or stripped.

Worth having replacements on hand before you start rather than discovering the problem with the grille already off.

The upside of a screw mount is that it's mechanical rather than adhesive, so once it's in it stays put regardless of weather or pressure washing.

Use The Genuine Part

An emblem is pure appearance, which means getting it right is the entire job.

Aftermarket badges exist and they're cheaper, and they're also the reason some cars have an H that's slightly the wrong shade of chrome or sits a fraction off from where it should. On a part this inexpensive, buying the factory piece with the correct finish and the correct mounting geometry is an easy call.

For anyone keeping an EM1 correct, that matters. These cars are getting harder to find in good shape, and the details are what separate a clean one from an average one.

Who Should Grab One

This is for the EM1 owner whose front emblem has clouded, pitted, cracked, or gone missing, and for anyone putting a car back to factory correct. It's cheap, it's the real part, and it's the first thing anyone looks at on the front of the car. Sort your screws, get behind the grille, and set it straight.
