Honda OEM EGR Pipe Lower Gasket B - R18A/L15A/LEA1 Series
Got an exhaust smell in the cabin or an EGR related code on your Civic, Fit, CR-Z, or HR-V? Your EGR pipe gasket might be the culprit. This is the genuine Honda lower EGR pipe gasket for R18, L15A, and LEA1 engines. It seals the lower connection between your EGR pipe and the exhaust. When it fails, exhaust gases leak out at the joint and you'll often smell them inside the car or under the hood before you ever see a code. Part number 18719-RNA-A01.
Replace It While You've Got the EGR Pipe Off
If you're pulling your EGR pipe for any reason, this gasket needs to come out with it. EGR pipe gaskets don't reseal once they've been torqued down and disturbed. Reusing the old one is how you end up with an exhaust leak after the job's done. It's a cheap part and it's right there, so there's no reason to skip it.
