K&N Honda Civic Air Filter (22-26 Civic 1.5T)
Your 2022-2026 Civic 1.5T uses a paper engine air filter in the factory airbox. When that filter is dirty the car feels lazy off idle, and this washable honda civic air filter drops in the same 1.5T box. The 2022-2024 EX, Touring, EX-L, and Sport Touring are 1.5T. From 2025 the US 1.5T is the Si.
K&N 33-5120 is the High-Flow stock-replacement panel for that factory 1.5T airbox. One pre-oiled cotton filter in the package. It also drops into a 2023-2026 Integra 1.5 and a 2023-2026 CR-V 1.5T. No intake tube, no lid, no cabin filter.
What It Is and Why It Works
Honda put a disposable paper element in this 1.5T airbox. You pull it at the service interval, toss it, and close the lid. K&N builds this as washable oiled cotton gauze, so you get a panel you can clean and reuse, and you take on the oiling. Official re-oil is 0.75 oz (22 ml). Put more than that on the media and oil can migrate onto the MAF in the intake tube, so stay on that number when you service it.
In the stock 1.5T box this is a sound and feel mod, and it is a good one. You will hear the turbo pull air at full throttle and get more of that whoosh on lift, and the throttle feels a touch crisper. What you will not get is a number worth printing on a dyno sheet. The airbox and the snorkel are still the restriction.
Oiled gauze also gives up a little fine-dust capture next to fresh paper. If this Civic lives on gravel or a dusty commute, keep paper in the trunk and change it often. That is the one case we would stay on paper.

Factory airbox only. Official K&N Civic 1.5L year pages list 33-5120 for 2022 through 2026. From 2025 the US Civic 1.5T is the Si. Sport Touring on those years is Hybrid. Official extras are Integra 1.5 (2023-2026), CR-V 1.5 (2023-2026), and Accord 1.5 (2023-2026). A 2022 Accord 1.5 takes 33-5072. A Civic LX or Sport 2.0 takes 33-5045, which is 9.281 x 7.219 x 1.063 in. A Civic Hybrid takes 33-5145 at 8.25 x 5.625 x 1.5 in. A Type R or Integra Type S takes 33-5139 at 11.125 x 7.188 x 1.5 in. A 2016-2021 Civic 1.5T takes 33-5044 at 9.875 x 5.438 x 1.5 in. Pull the old panel if you are not sure. About 7.7 x 7.4 x 1.0 in is this filter.
What to Know Before You Buy
This one arrives pre-oiled. When you clean it, use K&N cleaner and oil, not a dry-filter spray, and stop at 0.75 oz (22 ml). Let the media sit until it is tacky, not wet, before the lid goes back on. If you just bought the car and the last owner already ran a soaked gauze panel, it is worth hitting the MAF with MAF-safe spray while the box is open.
While you are in there, worth a look at the lid gasket and the clamp on the intake tube. A crushed seal is why people swear a new filter did nothing. We would shorten that 75,000 mile interval a lot if the car sees gravel or winter salt.
Confirm the car before you order. A Civic Sport is the 2.0. A 2025-2026 Sport Touring is Hybrid. An Integra Type S is a different panel, and if someone already swapped the box for an intake kit, buy the filter that kit calls for. And if oiled media around the MAF makes you nervous, paper is never the wrong answer.
