This is the console panel out of the 2020-2021 Civic Type R, and it's one of the better OEM retrofits available for a 10th gen Civic. You get the alcantara shift boot with red stitching, the red boot ring, and the console trim itself, all in one factory assembly. But the reason most people buy it is the plate provision, because this panel has the recess where the Type R's numbered badge sits.

The Number Plate Recess

Here's what makes this piece interesting for anyone who isn't in a Type R. The FK8 came with a serialized number plate mounted in the console, and this panel has the provision for it. Fit this to a Sport, an Si, or any other 10th gen interior and you've got a proper factory-cut home for a plate.

What people do with that is up to them. Custom numbering, a build name, a shop plate, a date, whatever suits the car. The point is that it's a genuine recessed mounting spot designed into the panel rather than something adhesive-mounted onto flat plastic, so the result looks like it belongs there.
