HKS Hi-Power Axle-Back Exhaust & Center Pipe - 2009-2014 Honda Fit
The GE Fit is a light, willing car Honda sold with a deliberately quiet exhaust. This is HKS's answer, built on the same Hi-Power design philosophy they've used since their endurance and GT racing days: minimize bends, give exhaust the most direct path out, and let the engine breathe. Available as the axle-back on its own or paired with the SUS center pipe for the full system.
Axle-Back, Center Pipe, Or Both?
Worth understanding, because they do different amounts of work.
The axle-back (32003-BH006) replaces the rear section from the axle back. It's the simplest install, the most affordable entry point, and it gives you the Hi-Power muffler and tone. If you want the car to sound right without a big spend, this is where to start.
The SUS center pipe (33004-AH002) is the section ahead of it, and it's where the actual flow improvement lives. It steps the piping up through 45mm to 50mm to 65mm, opening the path to the muffler considerably compared to the restrictive factory pipe.
Running both is the complete system and where you'll see the most benefit. Running the axle-back alone still sounds good, but the center pipe is what unrestricts the path feeding it. Plenty of people do the axle-back first and add the center pipe later, which works fine since they're separate pieces.
Straight Path, Fewer Bends
The core of the Hi-Power design, taken directly from HKS's racing work.
Every bend in an exhaust is a restriction. Gas changes direction, slows down, and turns turbulent, and turbulent flow moves through a pipe considerably worse than smooth flow does. HKS lays these out with a race-inspired offset muffler and a piping design that minimizes direction changes.
On a small naturally aspirated engine, where there isn't much exhaust energy to spare, removing restriction matters more than it does on a bigger motor. There's less margin to waste.
Honest Expectations
Being straight about what this does on a stock Fit. You're not going to transform the power output of a 1.5 liter, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
What you get is a genuinely better sounding car, a stainless system that won't rust out from under you, and a freer path that becomes more useful as you add other modifications. At 77dB closed on the center pipe system, it's sporty without being obnoxious, which suits the car. If you want your Fit to sound like it's enjoying itself, that's exactly what this delivers.
SUS304 Stainless Throughout
Both the muffler and tip on the axle-back and the center pipe itself are SUS304 stainless steel. That resists rust far better than mild steel and keeps its finish rather than dulling out.
On a car now fifteen years old and heading toward twenty, that's practical rather than cosmetic. A stainless system fitted today outlasts the factory exhaust it replaces by a wide margin.
A Note On Model Years
The second generation Fit ran through 2013 in the US and 2014 in Canada. So if you're in Canada with a 2014, you've got a GE and this fits. If you're in the US, 2013 is the last year of this generation.
Worth mentioning because a US buyer with a 2014 Fit has the third generation car, which takes different parts entirely.

Who Should Run This Exhaust
This is for the GE Fit owner who wants a real HKS system rather than a generic muffler, and who appreciates that the small stuff is worth doing properly. Start with the axle-back for the sound, add the center pipe when you want the flow, or do both at once and be done. Either way you end up with a car that sounds like it's having a good time.
