Hasport K-Series Engine Mount Kit - 2001-2005 Honda Civic Non-Si
If you're putting a K-series in an EM2 or ES1, the factory mounts are useless to you. There's nothing in that chassis designed to hold a K-series where it needs to sit. This Hasport kit is what does it, locating the engine and transmission on the chassis and subframe so your axles, shift linkage, and driveline geometry end up where they belong instead of doing the classic swap shuffle under load.
Read This First: You Need The Right Subframe
Non-negotiable, so sort it before anything else. Every version of this kit requires an RSX subframe or a 2002-2005 Civic Si subframe.
If you don't have one, stop here and plan that first. The mounts locate the engine relative to the subframe, and without the correct one there's nothing for them to bolt to. It's the single most common reason a swap stalls out halfway through.
Three Versions, Pick By Transmission
The difference between these kits is which transmission family you're running. Match yours:
| Kit | Transmission |
|---|---|
| ESK3 | 2002-2011 RSX and Civic Si manual |
| ESK4 | 2003-2007 Accord and 2004-2008 TSX manual |
| ESK5 | 2012-2015 Civic Si manual |
The ESK5 is the newest addition and it opens up a transmission a lot of builders wanted. The 9th gen Si gearbox is a good unit and they're increasingly available as those cars age out, so if that's the direction you're going, this kit is what makes it fit.
Your chassis can start life as a manual or an automatic, that doesn't affect fitment. What matters is which transmission you're actually installing.
Pick Your Durometer Honestly
All three versions come in four bushing stiffnesses, and this choice affects how you live with the car more than any other decision here.
62A (street) is the most livable. Real drivetrain control compared to nothing, minimal added vibration. If the car is a daily, start here.
70A (race) is the common pick for people who drive hard but still use the car on the road. Tighter than 62A, still tolerable at idle.
88A (extreme race) and 94A (most extreme race) are for people who genuinely don't care about comfort. Excellent movement control, and enough vibration at idle that it feels like a phone buzzing in the dash, especially with a lightweight flywheel or solid exhaust hangers.
The tradeoff is straightforward: stiffer bushings reduce drivetrain rock, keep shifts cleaner, and stop the header swinging into things. They also transmit more of everything into the cabin. Almost everyone wants the stiffest option until they've lived with it for a week.

Why Mounts Are Worth Getting Right
Mounts are the reference points for the entire drivetrain, and everything downstream inherits whatever they do. Get them right and your axles sit at correct angles, your shift linkage works properly, and your exhaust clears what it should. Get them wrong and you'll be fighting all three for as long as you own the car.
Hasport built their name in the Honda world on mount kits that fit, which matters most when you're the one solving problems in a garage rather than following a well-worn path.
Fitment
2001-2005 Honda Civic non-Si, manual or automatic chassis
Excludes the 2001-2005 Civic Hybrid. Requires an RSX or 2002-2005 Civic Si subframe.
Who Should Run These
This is for the builder K-swapping a 7th gen Civic who wants a known fitment path rather than a mix of OEM parts that almost work. Confirm your subframe, match the kit to your transmission, and pick a durometer based on how you actually drive rather than what sounds toughest. Then get the engine in and go build the rest of it.
Fits: 2001-2005 Honda Civic non-Si, manual or automatic chassis. Excludes: 2001-2005 Civic Hybrid. Requires: RSX or 2002-2005 Civic Si subframe.
