Haltech PD16 Power Distribution Module with Plug & Pin Set
If you've ever chased a dead circuit through a relay panel at a track day, you already know why PDMs exist. The Haltech PD16 replaces the fuse box and the pile of relays with solid-state switching you configure in software, so your wiring gets simpler, lighter, and far easier to diagnose when something goes wrong. This is the plug and pin set version, meaning you get the module along with the connectors and pins you need to actually wire it up.

Most important thing on this page. The PD16 is not a standalone PDM. It's designed to integrate into a Haltech Elite or Nexus engine management system, and it will not function on its own or alongside another brand's ECU. If you're running a Haltech Elite or Nexus, this drops right into your existing setup. If you're not, this isn't the product for you, no matter how good the spec sheet looks.
Why A PDM Beats Fuses And Relays
Worth understanding if you haven't run one before, because the advantages go well beyond tidiness.
A blown fuse on a traditional setup means the car is done until you find a spare and figure out what caused it. A PDM output just trips, and you reset it in software. You also set the current limit for each circuit yourself, so you're not hunting for the right amp rating, you type in a number.
Then there's diagnostics, which is the part people don't expect to love as much as they do. Because the PD16 sits on the Haltech CAN bus, you can see what every circuit is actually drawing, in real time, on your dash or laptop. A fuel pump pulling more current than it did last month tells you something is about to fail before it strands you. That's information a fuse box can never give you.
And you get programmable control. Outputs can be tied to conditions, timers, or triggers in your Haltech software, so things like fan staging, pump priming, and shutdown sequencing get handled properly instead of with a nest of relays and diodes.
What The PD16 Can Actually Run
There's a lot of capacity here for one module:
- 10 high side outputs
- 4 high current outputs rated at 25A each
- 2 half bridge outputs
- 8 inputs, plus a dedicated ignition switch input
- Power for the ignition switch
- 5V sensor supply and sensor ground
- 120A SurLok main power connector
Those four 25A outputs are what let you run the heavy stuff, fuel pumps, fans, and similar, directly off the PD16 rather than through separate relays. Between that and the ten high side outputs, one module handles most of what a typical build needs switched.

The PD16 integrates into the Haltech CAN bus rather than being a separate system bolted alongside your ECU. That's what makes the whole thing work as one setup: your ECU and your power distribution share data, you configure everything through Haltech software, and your logging shows engine and electrical data together. For diagnosing a problem at 11pm before an event, that unified picture is worth a lot.

Race cars, dedicated track builds, standalone-swapped street cars, or anything where the wiring is being done properly from scratch. You get lighter, simpler wiring, resettable circuit protection, and real visibility into what your electrical system is doing. Confirm you're running an Elite or Nexus, and go build a harness you'll actually enjoy troubleshooting.
