Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit for 2016-2021 Civic 1.5T and Civic Si - Part #08956
A tuned L15B7 makes more torque than the stock clutch was built for, and the Si isn't any better off. Exedy's 08956 is the Stage 2 cerametallic kit for the 10th-gen 1.5T cars, rated 255 lb-ft at the wheels, with a thick sprung disc that works on the factory dual-mass flywheel so you don't have to buy a flywheel to fix a slipping clutch.
What It Is and Why It Works
Ductile-iron Stage cover with roughly 40 percent more clamp than the Honda plate, and a thick cerametallic disc on a sprung hub. Thick means more friction material to soak up heat, which is what you want on a street car that occasionally gets slipped. The sprung center keeps engagement shock off the gearset and takes the harshness down a notch.
It's still cerametallic. Pedal effort goes up and the engagement window gets shorter. Daily-drivable, yes, but not stock-smooth. For a car that's tuned but otherwise stock, the Stage 1 organic is the softer option.

What to Know Before You Buy
If you keep the dual-mass flywheel, inspect it. A worn DMF with play in the springs will make a new clutch chatter and gets blamed on the clutch.
500 easy miles to bed it in before any launches.
Expect heavier pedal effort and a firmer take-up. Both are normal for a cerametallic disc.
