Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic 4-Puck Clutch and Lightweight Flywheel Kit for K-Series - Part #08951P4FW

This is the 08951P4 Stage 2 kit with Exedy's chromoly flywheel in the same box. It's the version to buy for a K24 swap, a TSX, an 03-07 Accord or an EP3, because those cars don't have the 215mm flywheel the Stage 2 disc needs. It's also the right buy on an RSX-S or 06-11 Si if your flywheel is already heat-checked or has been cut before.

What It Is and Why It Works

The clutch is Exedy's 4-puck thick cerametallic disc on a ductile-iron Stage cover with roughly 40 percent more clamp than stock, rated 224 lb-ft at the wheels. Four pucks engage more progressively than three and wear longer, and the sprung hub keeps shock out of the gearset. Still a puck clutch: short, firm engagement and a heavier pedal.

The flywheel is one-piece chromoly with the ring gear machined in, lighter than the stock K24 wheel by a wide margin. That's why 12-15 Si owners need a retune after install; the ECU's idle strategy expects the heavier stock mass. On everything else it just revs faster and rev-matches easier.

What to Know Before You Buy

New flywheel bolts. Exedy doesn't include them and the OE bolts are torque-to-yield.

500 easy miles before you launch it. Cerametallic cooked before it seats never holds rated torque and it voids the warranty.

Replacement disc is HD10T1. If you only need the clutch and your flywheel is good, the 08951P4 kit is the same clutch without the flywheel.
