Hyper Single discs are consumables on a car that gets launched. When the pucks on your HH03SD are down to the rivets, this is the disc that goes back in. Same 200mm 6-puck sprung cerametallic disc the kit shipped with, sold alone, so you reuse the forged cover and chromoly flywheel you already paid for.

What It Is and Why It Works

The Hyper Single cover holds 2,023 lb of clamp, and the disc is what turns that into torque capacity. Six cerametallic pucks give a wider engagement band than a three or four puck and still keep inertia below a full-face disc. The sprung hub absorbs the shock a rigid disc would send into the K-series gears. New disc on a resurfaced flywheel and a healthy cover puts the clutch back at its 235 lb-ft at-the-wheels rating.

This disc only works with the Hyper Single cover (CH07S). It won't fit the Stage 2 08951 plate (that's HD10T) or a stock cover, and it's not the disc for the HM032SBL twin.

Fitment

Fitment follows the HH03SD kit. It is a K-series 24-spline disc and does not fit B-series transmissions.

What to Know Before You Buy

Resurface the chromoly flywheel and inspect the cover's friction face before the new disc goes in. A fresh disc on a glazed or grooved surface chatters immediately and wears fast.

Replace the release bearing at the same time; HCAK103 has it plus a pilot bearing and alignment tool.

Bed it in for 500 easy miles. Cerametallic cooked before it seats never holds rated torque.
