These are the polyurethane rear upper shock mount bushings for your 8th gen Civic, and they replace the soft factory rubber where your rear shocks bolt to the chassis. Like any poly bushing, these'll squeak if you put them in dry, so use plenty of a polyurethane-safe grease on install. Quick tip on color while we're at it: the black version is graphite-impregnated, which makes it a little more self-lubricating, so if keeping things quiet is your priority, black's the pick. Red and black are otherwise the same polyurethane at the same hardness, the only difference is the graphite and the color.
