Lower an 8th or 9th gen Accord, a CU2 TSX, or a TL and the rear tires start wearing their inside edges within a few thousand miles. The rear multilink on these cars gains negative camber quickly as it drops, and the factory upper arm has no adjustment to take it back out. Eibach's 5.67540K is the rear camber arm kit that fixes it, with enough range to set a street alignment on a lowered car or a real negative-camber track setup on one that isn't.

What It Is and Why It Works

The kit is a pair of adjustable rear upper camber arms that replace the fixed factory arms. Each one threads in and out to change the top of the knuckle's position, which gives you plus or minus 3.0 degrees of camber and about a degree each of toe and setback, well past what any lowering spring takes away. Eibach builds them for the 2008-2017 Accord, 2009-2014 TSX, 2009-2014 TL, and 2015-2020 TLX, which share the rear suspension architecture. On the TLX with four-wheel steering, the factory toe link stays; only the camber arms are replaced.

Eibach's own application page lists the Accord and TSX and the 2009-2014 TL Base; the 2015-2020 TLX coverage comes from Eibach's dealer data. The 2018 and up Accord uses a different kit (5.67476K), and the SH-AWD TL is not listed.

What to Know Before You Buy

This is a rear kit only; it does nothing for front camber. Install it the same day as the springs and get the alignment done before the tires have a chance to wear, because the damage from excessive negative camber is done in the first couple thousand miles. Give the alignment shop the target numbers you want rather than "factory spec," since the whole point of the range is that you can run something more aggressive than stock if the car sees track time. Thread lock and a torque wrench on the jam nuts; an arm that walks changes your alignment a little every drive.
