What A Front Bar Actually Does

Worth being clear, because it works differently than a rear bar and people get this backwards.

A bigger front bar increases roll stiffness at the front of the car. That reduces overall body roll and keeps your front tires flatter to the pavement through a corner, which means more of the contact patch doing work. That's real grip.

The balance effect, though, runs opposite to a rear bar. Stiffening the front shifts the car toward understeer, not away from it. That's not a flaw, it's a tuning tool. If you've fitted an aggressive rear bar and the car has gotten nervous or too eager to step out, a front bar brings it back into line.

The 29mm diameter is a meaningful step up in stiffness from the factory bar. Roll resistance scales sharply with diameter, so even a modest increase in size produces a substantial increase in stiffness.

Tubular construction is how you get that stiffness without the weight penalty of a solid bar. Most of a bar's resistance to twist comes from its outer material, so removing the center saves weight without giving up much stiffness at all.

Non-adjustable, unlike Eibach's rear bar for this car. There's one rate and it's the rate Eibach tuned for this chassis. If you want adjustability in your setup, that lives on the rear bar where balance tuning actually happens.
