Why A Quality Fuel Filter Matters
Fuel picks up contaminants, rust and debris from the tank, particles from the lines, residue from the fuel itself, and if that reaches your injectors, it clogs the fine passages and throws off your fueling, or it wears the fuel pump. On a built or high-power engine where fueling has to be precise and consistent, dirty fuel is a real problem, and a clogged injector can lean out a cylinder and cause damage.
